BUCCANEERS ENCOURAGE FANS TO ARRIVE EARLY
In a continuing effort to ensure the safety of fans
at Buccaneer games in response to the tragic events that occurred in our nation
on September 11, 2001, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers encourage all fans to arrive
early for all home games.
"Because of the tragic events in our country, Raymond James Stadium's security
policies are being reviewed on a continuing basis," said Director of Public
Relations Jeff Kamis. "Those procedures could result in longer delays, and fans
are encouraged to arrive even earlier than normal to avoid those delays."
Security and safety for guests, employees and players at Raymond James Stadium
has always been the top concern. The heightened security, along with numerous
detectable and non-detectable security measures already in place, will further
ensure the personal safety of everyone in and around the stadium.
Parking lots will open four hours before kickoff, while stadium gates will open
90 minutes prior to gametime. Please remember the following items that are
prohibited and the items that are allowed.
